Based in Bellingham, Carla enjoys a close-knit family and takes pride in being a great aunt. She shares her home with two cherished pets: a 12-year-old poodle named Lucca and a mini-Aussie rescue named Lollie, who has shown wonderful progress since her adoption.

In her free time, Carla indulges in gardening, photography, and experimenting with new culinary creations. She also has a passion for local music, theater, and traveling. As a Level 2 Reiki practitioner, Carla integrates a holistic approach into her life and work.

Carla serves on the board of directors for the Building Industry Association of Whatcom County (BIAWC) and has played an active role in the annual Home and Lifestyle Show. As an avid supporter of homeownership, including the land trust model, she is passionate about teaching homeownership education.
